AXA Sun Life

I was employed as a contractor by AXA Sun Life on two seperate occassions via Elan IT.

The first three month contract involved writing a program in visual basic to gather the required information to produce the end of year P11D tax forms for their employees.

The second six month contract involved writing programs, once again in visual basic, to migrate data from two existing unit trust databases onto a new database as required.

The new unit trust software they had agreed to purchase was provided by a specialised software arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

My role involved liasing with the RBOS software house to ensure that the eventual database to be migrated was in the required format etc. and to manage and write the programs that were written by two members of AXA Sun Life employees and myself.

The project was delivered on time, within budget, and the data was migrated successfuly at the first attempt (obviously after several test runs).

Towards the end of this project I was invited by the head of consultancy at the RBOS software house to join his team working from London; an offer which I gladly accepted.
